The Issue Is We’re All Gullible

The Issue Is We’re All Gullible

“Is there another way?”

This is the question millions of people around the world ask every day.

They want to know if there is another version of life apart from the life they’re currently living on earth.

Their answer to that question is rooted in a wrong assumption about life.

From early on they were conditioned to worship activity.

They look outside themselves rather than go within.

Making money, entertainment, gossip, losing themselves in psychic activity, the list goes on.

This is why the question will never be answered.

We believed that this was the only way life could be lived. That there was no other way.

We’re seeing that now as the world around us as we knew it collapse.

Strange Facts About The Human Condition

Millions of people ask the question:

“What is life about?”

The moment they seek the answer, strange things start to happen:

They seek outside of themselves.

They fall into psychic sleep.

They use others to fill the aching void.

They become inexplicably confused and angry.

They strive to become rich.

They work to be the career person they’ve always knew they could become.

They forget the question all together.

How To Change Into A Completely Different Person

How To Change Into A Completely Different Person

There is a right way to live our lives on a personal level.

No one else can tell us what resonates with us.

It is this very resonance that allows us to distinguish between what belongs & what doesn’t belong.

Let’s say you’re walking on a road or trail.

You come up on some blockage, branches, debris, etc.

How do you move on? You remove the debris.

You get rid of what doesn’t belong.

The right way is about clearing the blockages.

Many of us try to add things. We don’t need to add anything.

All we need to do is remove what doesn’t belong.

A Wise Task

A Wise Task

One of the most important tasks we can under take is to repeatedly withdraw our attention from the mundane.

We intentionally place our attention on things that improve self-knowledge, that alerts us to our divine inheritance.

Remember this task everyday.

Withdraw your attention from the news.

Withdraw your attention from social media highlights.

Place your attention on higher knowledge.

For actualization.

This is our task.

For life.

Your Writing is You’re Writing

Your Writing is You’re Writing

By Anthony Boyd

Every now and again I get fed up with seeing these obnoxious “how to” articles on how to write. It’s similar to the fitness industry dopes we put out cookie cutter programs that lack the specificity trainees need to reach their goal, it’s not for everyone.

Everyone is unique. When it comes to your writing, take into account that YOU ARE writing. Not the writing marketing guru who made $1,000 from their latest Medium article. Or your favorite author, or blogger.

All of these rules for writing will crush your spirit as a writer, especially if you’re writing with the express purpose to make money. Yes, you should be getting paid to write but you don’t have to.

I feel like people saw the opportunity to make money from their craft and decided to offer their integrity up for a few peanuts.

What about the craft?

What about the reason you got into writing in the first place?

My thing is this, find a balance. You can write your stories for you, for the craft. And if you have some other “thing” you’re good at, write about that in all of the marketing format you wish in order to sell whatever it is you wish to sell.

Include the call to actions at the end of the pieces, all the fancy spacing(because apparently single line paragraphs are the shit these days) and whatever else makes the piece marketable.

But at the end of the day, put the writing first.

What It’s Like Living In Transit

What It’s Like Living In Transit

I remember being at a house party back in the day. It was in my home town of The Bronx, my first house party.

I ended up dancing with a girl. FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT.

I couldn’t stop. I wanted to stop. She seemed to be enjoying herself so much. But I stop enjoying myself after the 2nd song. I wanted to sit down.

All I could think about was sitting down. But I didn’t want to offend her. It was internally awkward because I came with my friends and I should have been hanging with them. But I ended up dancing with her for the whole night.

Life is like that. You just keep going and going. Living life in this indefinite purgatory of liminal transit.

But for what? I think that’s what this pandemic/quarantine situation has forced many of us to ask ourselves.

“For what?”

You’re Already That Person

You’re Already That Person

Many of us are conditioned to need a certain level of validation in order to do what we want.

The truth is, we don’t. All we need is to make the decision that we are who we think we are.

After we make this decision, all we need to do is place ourselves in the surroundings to match who we are.

It’s literally that simple.
